Glory to the Mother

‘Mother’’ is a pure term that comes from a child’s mouth and stays with him until his old age.

The Mother represents all the wealth of the world.

The tenderness of a mother does not see the age of her child. She will always regard him as the child she held on the first day he was born.

Her love is divine. Even if we have forgotten her on our days of joy, she is always present to share our suffering and wipe away our tears. She is a source of compassion.

Her generosity teaches us gratitude. She deprives herself of sleep to watch over us, and she forgets about herself, thinking only of us. Our debts to her can never fade away. Thus, her child’s thankfulness is the greatest touch to her soul.

‘‘The heart of a mother is a deep abyss, at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness’’, Honoré de Balzac. The forgiveness of a mother has no limit, as illustrated in this story of a mother and her son…

One day, the fiancée of a young man asks him to offer her the heart of his mother. To please his loved one, he kills his mother and carries her heart on a platter. On the way, the young man stumbles on a rock and falls. Then, the heart of his mother which is dripping blood, asks him: “My son, are you hurt?’’ Hence, a mother is willing to forgive everything.

She is like a candle burning itself to give light to others. What sacrifice would she not accept for her child? In return for all of her goodness, we can only offer her our thankfulness. Oh! Mother wherever you are, thank you!

She is our life. Thanks to her, we rejoice in the beauty of our earth. Even if the one that has given us this life has disappeared from our world, her memory remains engraved forever in our spirit.

For those who still possess this richness, give her glory as well as to the Creator for this gift!

How to Attract Success in Your Life

Do you find yourself struggling to achieve success? Are you tired of working hard and not getting any results? Do you feel like you are spinning your wheels of success in one place? Well, you most likely won’t find anyone who hasn’t had his or her share of frustration along the way to success.

Many people are too busy doing and they don’t take the time to examine if their doings are in alignment with their being. And…that may be your problem, too.

You have probably heard that success is from the inside out. We must first create it in our minds before it can become a reality. If you wake up saying that you can’t, it doesn’t matter how much effort you put in that day, you will experience very few results. Buddha said, “What you think  you become.” Therefore, keep your inner conversation positive.

The tongue has the power of life and death. Most people are very effective at speaking death or  to create fears and doubt in others.  Those people might be even strangers who will not hesitate to utter unsolicited negative comments or criticism. They will try to destroy your dreams with their words. Sometimes, our friends and family do want the best for us, but may not see or understand our vision.

It takes serious work to not allow their negative opinions to enter your head and to protect yourself from their harmful attitude. It’s an obstacle to your success. If you are not careful, a few years from now, you will become what people believe instead of what you wish to be.

Be sure to always walk away from negatively charged people and surround yourself with good and successful people who will plant positive seeds in your mind.

To your incredible Success!

Why Use Assessments in the Workplace?

In the business world today, companies want people to be efficient, fast and productive. The focus is given to technology, sometimes, at the expense of people. The attitudes, communication, recognition for good work, appreciation for contribution and a sense of well-being are more important factors to the employees’ perception than the traditional enticements of compensation or benefits.

Many employees don’t find their work meaningful. As a result, they are frustrated and this usually leads to low morale and reduced productivity. So, how do employers handle this counter productive trend?

Employers can deal with this trend by leveraging the investment into existing human resources or increasing productivity by new investments in human resources. The best way to enhance the human resources strength is with a good assessment tool.

Assessments can measure a variety of criteria: natural and adaptive behaviors, talents, skill proficiency, work styles, thinking process, motivation and core values. Assessments are used to help determine training needs, career counseling and personal development.

The first person who would benefit from this powerful tool is the employee. Assessments give individuals an opportunity to gain new insights about themselves, with the goal being self-improvement, and to better understand others in order to communicate with them effectively.

The corporations obviously recognize that they are powerful resources. Here are some ways corporations use assessments:

  • Communication Assessments can provide guidelines for communicating with employees.
  • Change ManagementAssessments teach specific behaviors for transforming resistance into receptivity.
  • Conflict ResolutionAssessments can help to dissipate tension & mistrust.
  • Management Skills  – Assessments show your managers how to easily motivate their staff.
  • Team Building – Learn how to masterfully transform a dysfunctional team.
  • Recruitment – Learn how to find the right fit the first time around!

The benefits from using assessments can be valuable:

  • Increase productivity.
  • Higher employee morale.
  • Good team spirit.
  • Effective communication.
  • Better employee service to customers.

How To Grow Your Business In Spite Of These Tough Economic Challenges

I’d like to share with you how you are able to double or triple the sales of your company during these hard economic times. The recent global economic crises are forcing many big and small businesses to lay off their employees or shut their doors. Others are still unsure what do to about it. However, some big corporations are still surviving and thriving.

Have you ever wondered why some companies continue to thrive in spite of their challenges? The answer is simple: They have an obsession to serve their customers. In 2011, Customer Choice Award ranked Amazon.com as the number one in customer service excellence. Now, business owners will say they went out of business because of cash problems and many other reasons. The reality is, they were not providing outstanding customer service in order to make more sales.

The Customer Should Be the Center of Your Business

Whether your business is ‘business to business’ or ‘business to consumer’, you cannot survive for too long without customers. As they say, “The customer is King.” I’m sure some of you reading this are going to say, “I already know this.” However, we all need a good reminder. Besides, just knowing something is not enough. You have to apply what you know in order to have tangible results.

What I am about to reveal to you here is a way for you to boost sales in your company, increase cash flow and stay productive. It’s almost like a secret because so few companies embrace and practice it. Yet, it’s the key to business growth, especially during tough times.

Consistently Deliver Amazing Customer Service

Simply put, serve your customers instead of selling to them. Don’t focus on making the sale. Focus on filling the customer’s need. You can double sales by simply focusing on raising the quality of your customer service. However, I’m not talking about the routine of everyday customer service. In this economy, if you want to increase sales, and face your competition, you have to provide outstanding customer service. Let’s look at the different levels of customer service…

There are 3 Levels of Customer Service

1. Basic service. The customers have some expectations. Basically, you figure out the customer’s expectations and meet them. Customers will not hesitate to leave you in a snap if their expectations are not met.

2.  Give more than you should.  It might seem a paradox in business to give more than you should. Simply follow this timeless wisdom, “Give, and you shall receive”. If you want your company to grow, you have to exceed the expectations of your customers. Giving doesn’t necessarily mean spending a lot of money to make your customer happy. The high quality of the service is in small things you can do: offer your customers a gift for their birthday, always receive them with a smile, actively listen to their needs and patiently answer their questions.

The main point is – your customers should feel that they are special to you. Treat them as special, because they are. That is the way to touch your customers at an emotional level. By the way, business is all about emotions. Customers only use logic for justification. However, they all buy based on emotions.

3.  An outstanding service. This is the crucial one. You should put your entire focus on this one. It’s where the magic happens. It’s the one that makes you grow as a successful company. If you do so, your price will never be an issue. You and all the people in your company should have an obsession for amazing customer service. Every customer should walk away saying, “What a wonderful service!” If you can make this kind of impression in your customer’s mind, your company can reduce their marketing budget in half. Why?

Your Customers Will Spread the Values of Your Company

When you and your team amaze every customer with high quality service, your customers will spread the word for you. I am sure you have heard this before, but it’s worth repeating…word of mouth is the best form of marketing. If you consistently deliver outstanding customer service, your customers will talk about you with their friends, neighbours and colleagues. They will remember you and they will drop the name of your company during their conversations.

Here’s a practical exercise:

First, sit down calmly with a pen and paper. Then, ask yourself, “What can I do to give more satisfaction to my customers?” Focus only on their personal interests. Let your creativity flow. Now, go and amaze your customers. As they say, “A happy customer is worth two!”
